This is a custom Bench Rest target rifle built on a Winchester 'Super grade' action. (1937). Blue finish with polished bolt handle. 26" barrel marked "Pfeifer Rifle Co., recessed crown, drilled/tapped for rear sight Pfeifer Rifle Co. (Roscoe, California) was a recognized custom rifle maker and barrel manufacturer known for high-quality, specialized, and custom-barreled rifles. serrated trigger, hinged floorplate marked "Super Grade", front sling swivel, rear stud, non factory large, serrated flag safety lever. Walnut 'Bench rest' stock with checkered panels on wrist & beavertail forearm, contrasting blond wood fore end and grip cap with flared bottom, six position plate for hand stop adjustments, Pachmyer Presentation Model solid rubber recoil pad. Mounted with a Weaver CKT-15 Micro-Trac fixed power scope, duplex reticle, clear optics, one piece Buehler Micro Dial scope base. Bore is excellent/bright, blue is very good to excellent with a few minor scratches, action is smooth and the wood is excellent.
